The Sacred Shoppe was created by local, Megan Cook, to provide Canberra with a sacred space of hearthcraft. We are a small shoppe located within an antiques centre in Canberra, Australia. Here you will find a thoughtful collection of vintage and antiques to inspire ritual within the home.
The new products we sell are handmade from Australian witches, or from local and international suppliers, all who value organic, ethical sourcing and sustainability.
There is so much over-consumption in the spiritual industry. The Sacred aims to offer another, non-toxic, and kinder way to consume. All while never compromising on the beauty of ritual.

Let there be light
In an age where traditional methods are increasingly rare, this dedicated family keeps the art of candle making alive by producing non-toxic, traditionally crafted candles. The taper candles are crafted using the method of dipping the wicks continuously to produce a perfect taper. Such methods are similar to what you would have found in 11th century monasteries when most candle making was produced by monks.
